CaaS- Communications as a Service
Considered an enterprise communication type solution that is outsourced, Communications as a Service or CaaS may be used under lease from one individual vendor.
This type communication can be comprised of VoIP or voice over Internet protocol, IM (instant messaging), collaborative situations and video conferencing related apps incorporating mobile and fixed type devices. Much in the same way SaaS or Software as a Service has developed, CaaS has followed a similar route.
Vendors working with CaaS have a responsibility for all hardware and software related management and can provide a high Quality of Service (QOS).
